Although I may not express it, I do love cats. They are independent, caring, adorable, and dare I say cleaner than any other pet. We are fostering a kitten, and he is as perfect as perfect can get! His beautiful eyes, his almost black nose, his long ears, and his cute little paws. He is the guardian of our kitchen. He sits at the entrance of our kitchen like he is guarding all the precious food. He seems to be saying, "Don't worry, I will protect all the food."

3 things people get wrong about introverts
first of all we are all on a continuum, the basic premise that differentiates extrAverts from intrOverts is the orientation of the source from where one gains or draws energy. there are many misconceptions people have about introverts and generally, all introverts are placed towards the end of the introvert spectrum.
1. SHY!!!!!
shy is not an introverts middle name, it is true that we are shy, often arising from the notion that our views are not as important and not as intelligent as our extravert counterparts. some believe that that we are arrogant and have a lot of attitude if we do not talk, but the truth is that we hesitate to talk because of the fear of being judged or saying the wrong thing. we do not like to show ourselves off as it gives us a feeling of being extremely vulnerable, and kind of naked psychologically, in open view. this comment that we are "shy" also builds up to self talk and further strengthening of this attribute within us. we do know how to have fun, but we need time.
2. BORING!!!
say what!! we are not boring at all, its just that your operational definition of what causes boredom is absolutely skewed. some say we have boring hobbies like reading, gardening-more or less a one person oriented task. that's is true but we also love activities that afford us to interact with "some" humans, we are trying to incorporate you in our lives but do not ever tell us that we are boring cause- its just not a humane thing to say. think about it, first we muster up the courage to come and talk with you, try to have a conversation with you n you say "BORING" not done ppl!!
3.LONELY!!

we are definitely not lonely, when we have our thoughts and observations-you wouldn't know how time passes by. we value solidarity and have come to enjoy our own company. In this age and time, where everyone is struggling to have some "me" time and there are constant quotes reflecting that everyone must learn to enjoy their company, guess what we have done it already. just spending time with ourself, nurturing yourself psychologically as well as physically, is the best relaxation and rejuvenation possible!

INDIANESS
this blog is just to be taken lightly!!
5 Games Indians will get a gold for HANDS-DOWN!!
1. THE SPITTING RANGE:
cause India's stations, corners of roads, elevators and dustbins (thankfully spitting in the dustbins now) cannot be completely white for one whole week!! we tend to paint the town red!! most of them miss their mark....but as they say practice makes a MAN perfect, with a little bit of practice sure some Indians can reach the level to become a top performer.
2. THE LINE OF DEFENSE:
For sure the local trains has taught the Aunty's in the 2nd Class compartment a thing or two (fighting, abusing, FLYING inside the train) but the most appropriate place where they apply their learning is at the entrance of the train, they do not let others enter, they for sure make the best line of defense, if you can get into a local Mumbai train at peak hours, or fast trains or GET OUT OF THE TRAIN!! ALIVE!! BLESS YOU!!
3. MY WAY OR THE HIGH WAY:
the most important thing to learn from your mother, no not cooking but it is the art of bargaining.
" bhaiya na apka na mera, mein final itna dungi, bhaiya aur thoda masaala daala." haven't we all heard this growing up. when with your mom, trust her you would end up buying stuff at the best price!!
4. TRUST ME I KNOW:
one thing all our Indian Uncle's and Aunty's are best at "BETI/ BETA MERI BAAT MANLOO". every one is here to give advice, DO THIS, DO THAT, SHE/HE IS DOING IT YOU DO IT TOO, I KNOW etc etc. they not only try to influence us but do so in front of our parents, which then after these great adviser's leave turn into nagging for the rest of the week!! Thank you!!
5.THE THUMKA
Saved the best for the last, the THUMKA being one of the all time favorite dance move, thanks to BOLLYWOOD!! is the most practiced move in India. with one hand on our hip and one on our head, coupled with a sideways pelvic push...we desi girls and boys can truly ROCK YOUR WORLD!! so for any game requiring aada, nakhrey, colours, beats, be assured the trophy is ours!!

beauty
beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder,
why is the beholder oh so blind,
to one the beauty is your smile,
to another it is your eyes.
Nor your heart or soul,
but your new bought clothes
and you brand new stole.
there was a time we dared to be different,
now the dare is just to fit in,
a unique you lost in this dare,
which once was nurtured with so much care.
later with time we will realize,
when possessions are gone,
and beautys' said bye.
with time and honour to know thyself,
a miracle will happen that is almost blessed,
we will see our beauty for ourselves,
behold the beholder now sees well.

plans
when you are in your early 20s, you have chosen your career, within this decade we all want our life to be set, like have a family, roamed around places, see everything you wanted to see, give your parents all that they deserve and feel a sense of worth, that you have become something.
then you see many of your classmates from school, all here and there, doing the job they love and you wonder have they achieved all that you are still planning on achieving?
well it seems like they have....but everyone's journey is different and takes you on a path so different from that of others. It is human nature to compare oneself against the other. We all are in a race where we want to do better and social media constantly bombards us with others doing well and leaves us with that dull moment where we feel...what am I doing with my life!!
but the way that you are feeling now, it is very likely that another of your batchmate who you think has achieved it all, is feeling exactly the same way. It will happen that one day some of your batch mates checkout your profile and admire your achievements.
so make YOUR plan, follow YOUR path and enjoy YOUR journey...and compare yourself with only what YOU were, are and admire to be.

hmm...so i am a masters student, currently giving internship interviews..so today I was sitting and surfing the net, looking out for courses that would give me an edge over my classmates. At the same time I was thinking,am i in the right profession?, will I find my purpose in life through this profession? And all sorts of confusing questions.
after more excessive thinking and thinking I came at a conclusion which seems right for this moment. I have always wondered why do people want to find happiness and purpose in their life in relation to their jobs, the simple reason being because majority of our adult life is consumed by our work and it seems logical enough to expect that the activity in which we spend almost our entire life to provide us with a purpose, balance and that ever searching human need for happiness.
so how is a person to decide which profession would provide all of this, may be its OK if you do not find happiness in your profession, may be its OK to have doubts about your careers. You can find happiness in LIFE, by either volunteering, or even after a gap of more than 10 years when you finally sum up the courage to let yourself know the truth about what you really want to do, or in your very own amazing way
so right now enjoy being uncertain about your purpose, career, n the source of your happiness. Be in the moment, If its not for you , you WILL KNOW, and then have the strength and courage to know the truth and to accept it.
this one seems all over the place, for sure the next time I will be more organized.😊
